How to make sure my Vista Build 5536 dvd burnt correctly?

I decided I'd go ahead and install build 5536 of Vista, as I might not get to try RC1 for a week or so.

When I used PowerISO (daemontools wouldnt install on Vista) to mount and try to upgrade my 5472 build, it gave me some error while expanding the files.

I went ahead and burnt the iso onto a dvd, but I remember how many people couldn't get good burns on the Beta 2 iso.

I was thinking that a clean install would probably not give me the error...no way to be sure, but my first concern is whether or not the DVD will be a bad burn or not.

How can I check it?

I know how to check a burned disk against it's iso in Linux using 'cmp', I'm not sure how to go about it Windows

$ cmp /dev/cdrom /path/to/iso

You should also compare the md5sum of your iso against the value provided by Microsoft to ensure your iso isn't corrupted. If they didn't provide a md5sum value, then shame on them.

Pretty much any burning program will have an option to verify the burned data after burning. Turn that on when you burn the iso.
