How to optimize windows boot times

I seem to have very slow boot times. I have my HD partitioned into 3 (C:, D:, E and when i first setup this computer (with no programs or anything), Windows would load up at the black "Windows Screen" with the "moving block" only going from left to right 3 times. Now it takes about 6. How do I make it faster? What should i do to make my computer have fast load times? I have a SATA II drive and i have minimized the amount of programs its loading at startup (just a few). Even when i remove all that, it still loads slower than before. How can i make it boot up fast again?

Take out all the stupid startup items, stop all the 3rd party services, turn off all the background auto protect crap.

maybe go into bios and turn off boot antivirus, and boot floppy seek, and all the crap it displays before it boots into windows

yeah, I was going to say that many people on these forums just leave their computers on overnight, I either put it in standby or turn it off though because this computer can boot so fast.

I wouldn't leave my PC running overnight unless it had something I want it to do.
Otherwise, it is just acting like an air filter collecting dust inside because of the running fans!
