How To Overclock Patriot Viper RAM?

I have patriot viper ram, 16GB (2x8GB), 1866MHz and want to overclock.
Windows experience index says 7.8 on RAM and I want it to say all 7.9 (which is the best possible). Honestly I could care less about the speed increase (It's fast enough already). Call me crazy but I just want to see Windows telling me, "YOU HAVE THE MOST AWESOME COMPUTER". lol

I could also add two more sticks of RAM, but I don't think that would increase the experience index, because it's based off speed of calculations.

I have 32gb of ddr3 1333 on my workstation, and it gives me 7.9, so I think it's also amount taken into account.

Windows is going to lie to you. That score doesn't mean crap.

I know people with x79 setups getting lower scores than a 1155 setup.

The problem with WEI on W7 is that it will never exceed 7.9, even with an ultimate rig. With W8 however, you could go 7.9-9.9 with the same setup. Just goes to show that WEI score is utter BS.

Yea, I agree it's utter BS, but nonetheless I want to see all 7.9

Most RAM doesn't overclock very well, even a few mhz may cause instability.

Interesting tidbit, I have both less and slower RAM - 8GB of DDR3 1600 - and I get a score of 7.9.

Its got to be the latencies, perhaps a 2T vs 1T difference?
