How to play plex content on rokus without internet connection please?

I already did what this tutorial said but it only works for one video. The rest fail. Weird. They go to 13% flash then fail.

This is all without internet.

well they just did a major overhaul to the plex channel that basically removed a bunch of functionality and broke many other things. Many people are jumping to Emby because Plex refuses to fix it. Part of your problems may be related to that if you got the update back on the 6th (the channel, not the server).

The problem may be Roku. It can't be set with a static IP so it needs an outside source to grab a local IP. I grabbed an old Router and use that to give it a Local IP address. This problem occurs with Emby too.

Does anyone know if Plex downloads encoders on the fly or does it come pre-installed with all different types of encoders for different formats?
