How to report someone to INS (roommates from hell)

My fiance's 3 "friends"/former roomates who came here on student visas have been grade A a-holes to me and her since last september (which is when they came here). They've virtually excluded her from everything and used to even laugh at her and make fun of her for stupid sh!t in her face.

Things they've done:

They've spread lies about me and her among her other friends and they've even gone as far as telling her teachers that I'm a thief and whatnot. They would go grocery shopping without her and then would make her pay 1/4th of the bill even though she didn't even go shopping with them nor did she eat 1/4th of the crap. Plus they always tried to get her to pay 1/4th for personal items they would purchase. The last straw was when they told the apt complex that the hang tag on my car was not valid because I don't live with them (this is after she moved out to a different apt in the same complex. The hang tag was in her name.) So of course my car gets towed and I'm out $103.

I know it sounds like a rambling but I can clarify anything that needs to be. I know my fiance needs to learn how to stand up for herself and she has come along quite well. It's tough for her especially because she's in another state away from me and somewhat on her own. Well couple of things. I have a copy of the key to their apt. But the bigger thing is that I know that they're working over 20 hours a week. Their I-20 form states that they cannot work more than 20 hours a week. The I-20 form is how they got their student visas. Any suggestions on what I can do to these a-holes?

EDIT: I live in Wash DC and they're in OHIO. I don't live with them at all. But I used to drive there every weekend to visit her. I used to take them grocery shopping and whatnot in the beginning because they don't have access to a car.

Try separating that into paragraphs so it's a little easier to read.

I'm confused, though. How are they making you pay for groceries if they are living in a separate apartment from you? Just tell them to leave you alone.
Secondly, if your tag was valid and your car got towed, make the apt. complex pay the fine. They messed up.

Other than that, I wouldn't go so far as reporting them to the INS. If you think they don't like you now, wait until you go and pull something like that.

i know you are upset but you should take a step back.

whatever situation u can walk away from, walk away. Dont bother with them anymore. If you try to get them, theres a chance u will succeed, but it will be a waste of your time.

I think you missed the point where his fiancee lives with them. He can't really take a step back.

My advice would be if you think it's worth it simply call ins. www.immigration.gov and call their main number. Somebody there can point you the right way and tell you what to do, or let you know that they don't really care about this sort of thing or whatever.

ignore them? it sounds like she's no longer roommates with them, so in theory, there's no reason to have contact with them at all. obviously, they're not friendly people to hang out with, so don't hang out around them.

i don't know if i absorbed the parking tow problem correctly.. did you have proper tags or not? i'd be more angry at the landlord for not verifying this more than anyone else.

not trying to shift blame away from these losers, but there's only so much they can do to harm you and your g/f now that you're not required to see them. i would contact immigration authorities myself, but that's just me.

That's what sucks. I did have proper tags and all. The apt manager is a real a-hole and told me to my face that she will not reimburse me. So I verified with her that:

A: I had a valid permit. (They said it wasn't because the car is not in my fiance's name. I asked her what about the hundreds of other students whose cars are in their
parent's name. She had no answer to this.)
B: She never even bothered to give notice to my fiance that the tag was invalid.

She claims that the tag was invalid to which I refuted with "If it's invalid, why was it issued in the first place." I told her the name of the guy who gave it to us and he's denying the whole thing. So I've taken it up with their corporate office and I'm collecting a list of complaints about the management. These guys really suck but thats a whole seperate battle.

I swear, after this, I'm starting to feel Ohio just sucks

No joke about it. He told me this to my face. And I thought he was joking or maybe was trying to brag but I realized he was serious. And the sad part is trash like this get into our country via student visas so easily. After me and my fiance get married, it's going to be hell to get her status changed. I swear theres like 325002354 forms I have to fill out with so many filing fees for each one.

I would be very concerned about a statement like that as well, considering the times we're living in. Stop posting here and look up the number for your local FBI branch office. Or, since you're in Washington, take a ride down to headquarters. This really isn't something to joke about.
