How to reset BIOS

I purchased a M2N-E and a bone-head at Fry's told me that OCZ DDR2 6400 800 Gold (2x1GB) was a good fit. I got it running (sort of) for several months and tolerated the random freezes until recently. I updated the BIOS from 1102 to 1504. Then my problems really started. It would hung after the display of the BIOS revision 1504. I then started searching for "M2N-E, OCZ, 800" and found possible BIOS tweak solutions. I needed to buy a Kingston memory stick just to be able to boot far enough to get to the BIOS configuration prompt. I?ve tried these setting so far after switching back and forth between the Kinkston and OCZ: 5-5-5-15@800-1.95, 5-5-5-15@667-1.95, 5-5-5-15-2T@667-1.95, 4-5-5-15-2T@667-1.95. Now, I can no longer get past the ?BIOS Revison 1504? display before it hangs, even with the Kingston memory. I?ve tried different memory, Alt-F2 to force BIOS reset but I can?t get back to a point where I can modify the BIOS or reset it to its original state before it hangs.
Questions:
1. Can someone please outline steps I can take to recover enough to be able to change the BIOS to something, anything that will allow me to boot?
2. Any sure-fire BIOS settings to use with this memory?
3. I?ve seen reference to ELP IDA M-E1108AB-8E-E ECC memory as approved memory but I can?t find a place to purchase it. I also saw a reference that indicated that G. Skill is the distributor of this repackaged memory. Then, I saw a reference in this forum that I should stay away from G. Skill because it is as bad as OCZ (on this MB). Is G. Skill really ELP IDA.... and fully supported in this M2N-E?

Silly Question:

Did you unplug the machine, pop the case side off and physically short the clear CMOS jumper to return to defaults? If not try that first before panicking and start the machine back up. If you have tried taht with no luck, let us know so we can move on to the next step.

Yahoo! Something so simple solved my problem. Thank you.

After I reset the CMOS, I was able to get into the BIOS again. I reset the memory for 1.95, 667MHz, 5-5-5-15-T2, and rebooted. All OK so I put the two OCZ DDR2 6400 800 sticks back in and rebooted. It came up fine so I'm back in business.
