you have to set bt up to get it going at high speeds. things like port forwarding and port triggering need to be given to the bt IP.

piece of cake, if the op wants i will walk him through it with filezilla

azureus ftw, buddy

filezilla is a FTP program dumbass not bittorrent.

Use aim. Go to send file, and do it that way. It'll max your upload and be the fastest possible way besides physically sending him a copy.

here you go:

- setup up your router to route port 21 to your computer
- d/l filezilla server - http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/
- run through the seting up of the program
- click on the server interface, click on the lightning bolt if it is not already pushed in, next go to the settings options (which is to the right of the lock), set up any parameters and set the port to 21
- click on the icon with the 1 head on it, next to the settings, there select the folder and on the right of this new window, add the user
- give your friend your EXTERNAL ip address or wan ip and he should be able to connect. if he is using ie the syntax will be ftp://userass@ip

this should get you started, if you want i will try it once you get it setup to make sure i can connect and up/dl from you

I used "orb.com" so my sister could share video of my nieces with my brother in law while he was on duty in Iraq this Christmas season. NOT DVD quality, but it did stream at a high enough rate to make it usefull. My sister recorded Christmas morning, put it on an external drive and I had it running on my "orb server" in about an hour.
