how to send dvd to a friend? *REPS*

i have an iso i compressed it's like 4.3 gbs what's the fastest way to send it to someone located in south amerca from my computer in chicago?

i don;t want to use bit torrent cause then a bunch of people are gonna download it as weel and it's private so far i think limewire?

i didn;t say it was ilegal i said it was private. it a family video dvd.

Why not try "You Send It". It's a great sevice, free, we all like free, and it supports files up to one gb. (if it's bigger than breakit up into seperate rar files.

setup up a ftp server on your end and then have your friend connect with a ftp client. the reason i suggest ftp is because it is resumeable. i would also make the files ~15MB with winrar and use md5 or sfv to verify no data corruption. this is assuming you both have high speed.

if not, then i would suggest maybe fedex

If you're using a regular broadband ISP, chances are quite good that your upstream speed is capped; at max you'll be able to send out 768 Kb / sec (96 KB / sec) for example, and at that speed it'll take ages to transfer that much data.

Send it Fedex / UPS / etc...

AIM. If your only getting 1kb/sec on bittorrent you might be better off sending it first class mail via USPS.

yeah, just a good client program, unlike the one from www.bittorrent.com/org?

similar to bitcomet and such.

It offers many more options (max inbound, outbound, connections, etc..), can do more than one torrent at once, and much more user friendly.
