i'm trying to set up a robocopy script for backup purposes of specific folders on the machine's main drive. i want them to point to a specific external drive. i want to make sure that either the external drive's drive letter doesn't change, (so that when i run the robocopy script, it's always pointing to the right location) or i need to set an environment variable that i can reference in the script.
alternatively, if i make the script run from the root directory of the drive, (ie make it the autorun.bat) will i have to specify drive letter, or will it automatically set it properly?
ex:
will that work?
