how to tell the bios?

I just got a new asus p5w dh deluxe and the bios chip doesnt have a sticker on it, is there any other way of telling what bios it has other than booting it up (cant do that as i dont have the cpu yet and wont have it for another 2 weeks).

i have the same mobo.

mine came with the old bios (still worked with a 6600 though)

only way i saw the number was to go into bios and hit system info.

but if u dont have a cpu, then ur just gona have to be patient.
