How to tell what revision my 9700 is?

There's a sticker on my 9700 that says Rev A00. And on the pcb theres a number that says PN xx-xxxxx-30. So do I have an older 9700 or the newer ones. I want to upgrade my motherboard to a Canterwoord or Springdale but read about issues with older 9700s.

i think latest one is rev 3.3... not sure... it has more fan blades and a red aluminum heatspreader... not sure what else... check rage3d.

If my 9700 is the old rev then how come the last two digits of the PN is 30? Should I trust that more than the sticker that says Rev A00 because the PN is actually on the card while the other thats says Rev A00 is a sticker. According to a thread that I read over at asusboards, the manual for the Asus Canterwood says something about 9700s with a PN with 30 as the last two digits will work without problems. And that is what my card has.

Revision number is the LAST TWO digits of the FIRST STRING of the p/n located on the WHITE STICKER. NOT the PCB!!
Example: xxxxx30 xxxxxx

Would be a revision 3.0 card. Which is no means "old", but just not the newest revision.

If you go to the rage3d forums, theres a post on there that has pictures of a rev1 and rev3.3, and tells you the differences.

I found a thread over at rage3d that has a picture of a rev 30 and a rev 00. And according to that thread the rev number is the last two digits of the PN number that is ON the PCB which killrose said is wrong. So I'm still confused as to what my revision is. And I don't have a white sticker that says PN on it.

It can be found out in two ways, the way killrose said, and the rage3d way. I printed off the picture, so when i got my 9700pro, i was able to check.
BTY, If you check the picture, there are more chips on on the rev3.0 compared to the rev1.0, so theres another way.
