How to unlock voltage for GTX970

I recently purchased a EVGA blower type 4gb gtx970 video card. I installed my old arctic cooling mono plus cooler on it and the temperature never reach above 51C on stock. Right now I have the card overclocked to 1475mhz core, 7880mhz on memory. I would like to push the video card to 1500mhz, but then it will give me a black screen, so my only option is to increase the voltage by 12mv or 25mv to see if I can hit 1500mhz. I used EVGA precision X 16 to do that and in GPU-Z, I don't see the GPU voltage increased to 1.212v or 1.225v during boost, but stayed at 1.200v, which I believe my voltage is locked in BIOS. So is there any way to unlock the voltage?

I can hit 1500mhz boost during gaming for like 2 minutes before the screen turns black.

I think that would require a bios mod. Try visiting the 970 owners club or the maxwell bios mod thread at OCN. They should be able to provide you some information there and even modify the bios for you.

While 1500 is round and cool number, going there from 1475 is just ~1% extra performance assuming decent scaling. Unless you plan pushing it further it is prolly not worth it.
