How to "unshrink" clothes

i wash everything on warm/cold and dry on high. i have no issues with shrinkage.

perhaps you're just babying your stuff too much. there should only be so much that it will shrink, i guess i just go ahead and get it all out of the way early.

Your clothes aren't shrinking. You are getting fatter. Happened to me. I went up 25 lbs without knowing really even noticing. Thought the washer was busted.

You don't hang them on hangers. You drape them over a clothes line. After they're dry you put the stuff on hangers.

Reminds me of a plumber I knew that kept his nipples on his shoulders for easy repairs. Good thing he didn't drink on the job because the last thing you want is drunk cut nipples.

After it is dry, you put it in the dryer for a few minutes. Gets rid of the stiffness but doesn't shrink the clothes.

I don't know if it works on wool materials but you can try it.

Put hair conditioner in warm water, soak your cloth in it for at least 30 min. This worked great on my wool sweaters at least.

Levi's jeans and khakius shrink badly. I usually don't dry them all the way. I let them dry to a point then hang them up to finish.

While I have gained weight a bit, I know as a fact that I did not gain a lot from the time I put them in the wash, and put them back on. Same day.

But I think what is happening is they stretch a bit as I wear them and shrink back when I wash them like coldmeat said. Been wearing them all day and they're not bugging me as much as they were earlier. I do plan to go buy more anyway. I was just hoping my washing process was not an issue. I'm still new to the whole doing my own laundry thing. So far I have not ruined anything. I did make the mistake of washing really cheap towels and face cloths with my old ones. lint EVERYWHERE. omg. I actually have to be careful not to wash too much of those cloths at once as the lint was actually bad enough to backup my main sewer line one time, that sucked.

Servers + water = bad.

And my current version of a server rack is 2 shoe racks laid beside each other LOL. Low low budget version.

I do have VHS tape backup though!
