How to upgrade Windows Mobile in Pocket PC 2002 version?

I recently inherited an older Pocket PC (t-moble phone edition model PW10B1) from 2002. I would like to see if i can upgrade the OS to the most recent version of the OS avalable but since i am new to this whole pocket pc thing, i have no idea what to do. Anyone able to shed some light on what i should do to upgrade it? (if its possible)

Windows Mobile upgrades are always issued by the OEM because they each tweak the OS a little bit.
You will have to get the phone set up with a T-Mobile account. Then register to get access to this account online. Then you will login and look around for your upgrade if there is one available. You cannot get these upgrades from Microsoft. I'd call T-Mobile support (877) 606-4801 first to see if there is even an upgrade available for this unit. You will not be able to get an upgrade unless the phone is activated. If you are just going to use the PPC functions, then you should be OK with 2002. A little slower, but not a whole lot of changes for isolated PPC use.... Go to microsoft.com to download the latest release of ActiveSync. Good luck.
