Didn't do much. Had to run a physical fitness test on Saturday morning. That went really well. Went for breakfast with friends. Drank with friends that night. Hung out all day on Sunday and picked up my friend from SFO.

Pretty boring.

Sunday - Excedrin.....and more party!
Today - great day at work

Friday I went grocery shopping and decided to give up caffeine
Saturday I continued to stay off caffeine and slept for 15 hours
Sunday I didn't do much
Today I am feeling much better after cheating and drinking a pot of coffee

Spectacular. My plans with a friend got cancelled, so I did nothing; kinda glad cause I've been doing crap for weeks and my ass is tired. Slept in both days, and just went driving on Sunday.

She has a nice bruise on her back from where she made contact with the edge.

Friday started out like crap, the electric company decided to do work on our transformer and didn't tell anyone. So I woke up with no power and freezing my ass off since no power=no heat. Finally got the electricity back on at 11pm.
Saturday turned around when I was at walmart and someone left $14 in the change bin in the self check out. Sunday i found a 42" plasma TV for $269 at Sams. So I picked up a lotto ticket.

Ummm, gas? Natural gas?

LOL @ someone leaving their change at SC. I have done it once at Whole Foods. I left like $8.xx in the bin and realized it 2-3 minutes later, so went back in from the parking lot and as you can imagine, it was long gone. Oh well.

fri: pregamed hard, went to party - drank more. Then made our last stop at the bar for the final round of drinks.

sat: watched my team (spartans) get beat. Drank a lil more. ran 3 miles at the gym.

sun: didnt take a shower. ate cereal.

So-so.

Today was better.

1) Did some work for a professor, which involved research in association with a local hospital, testing bone specimens. The testing went very well, and the test right worked perfectly, including some handy fixtures I designed for it.
2) Heard from the campus machinist who made the parts: The drawings I provided for him were "Better than most," which included drawings from students and professors. Yay.
3) Spent a few hours with someone working on a final project. He's always shown up for meetings, and is actually motivated about finishing the project and doing a good job, something I don't see in the group for another, slightly more important project. Good progress was made in optimizing and testing a computer model for the project.
4) Flushed Away, widescreen, arrived in the mail today.
5) Spent some ancient Pepsi Points on Praan.
6) Enjoyed some amusing Star Wars videos on Youtube.
7) Cable TV is gone, but my Internet is up from 768kbps to 7Mbps, at an overall savings of $10/month.

After a very long, tiring and "office politics"-charged week of trying to get promoted, talking to people and selling myself like a cheap whore, we came to Friday evening.

I was out at a social event with coworkers and bosses and found out through the grapevine that one of the bosses torpedoed my promotion. Because he could. Jerk. But I had to stay there and socialize and pretend to be happy because my annual report is coming up. We all know it only takes "one oh shit to mess up a thousand atta-boys." :roll:

Then on Saturday, though I was mentally and physically exhausted, I went another social function for a coworker that was retiring. I got thoroughly and utterly hammered, but did not make an ass out of myself. (I'm positive)

I was hungwaythehellover on Sunday and spent half the day running to the bathroom b/c my stomach wasn't right.

Monday wasn't much better as I spent almost 3 hours in the dentist chair. Someone just shoot me...it's quicker that way.
