Shitty. I've been filling in for a bunch of people that are retiring, and I'm working double shifts. I don't know the people working under me, and because of the times and how the shifts are split I don't get to see them to learn their names either. I work in a plant that is large enough that 'walking' to find people is quite literally a waste of time. So I'm stressed and anxious and I hate it.
Just pull a @Ns1 and have a mandatory meeting every morning, you'll get to know them in no time.
It may have been stressful but always remember that it won't have been as bad as the guys day that I looked after the other week.Mine was a bit stressful and I didn't get as much done as I wanted but I'm still alive so thats good
Pretty good day. Was able to sleep until 5:50 a.m. I made 20 Visio charts in 9 hours (I don’t get to write software anymore ). I got home and my wife had dinner ready (meatloaf. Yum yum). About to go upstairs and start assembling a new PC. Maybe watch an episode of Americans a little later on. Probably go to bed around 1 a.m., wake up, rinse, then repeat.

Not so good today. Woke up around 6am to something wet on my hand. My hand was resting in cat puke, on my bed.
Those first three sentences were a rollercoaster of curiosity, dread, tmi, relief, and disgust!
After I turned 55, my body decided it no longer needs to sleep. After a couple of months, I went to my primary care physician. He couldn’t find anything wrong so he sent me to a specialist. The specialist sent me to a sleep diagnostics center. Other than only being able to sleep for 4 to 5 hours a night, they couldn’t find anything wrong. They had me try several different sleeping medications, but then I either couldn’t wake up, or I was groggy all day. So I decided that I would just have to live with 4 hours of sleep.Dang 4 hours sleep?
