Like any other group of humans they are only going to be loyal until their own families are fucked over. What does "the modern era will not survive it" mean? I suspect we will be able to adapt in ways that do not mean the end of an era in any other sense than climatological. I hope there is a seismic shift in politics, but I don't think it is a certainty.
