my mates got one, granted he's 32 and uses it to ferry his dogs around to parks and places to do his insane runs (dude cant get enough of that tough-guy event) but its a canny good car... feels nippy (with his driving at least) and theres plenty o room for his 2 dogs with the seats down of course

Here in Germany it is the other way around. Insurance for women is cheaper because they cause less accidents and their accidents are hellofalot less severe - because they drive alot less aggressive.

Similar in the US. Insurance is less less expensive for women because their total claim cost is less. Women are actually involved in more "incidents" in the US, but they are far less expensive and tend to involve parking lot scratches, etc. Men are far, far more likely to turn a car into a ball of flaming wreckage.

At least in my experience, women are involved in less accidents, but probably cause just as many. Men drive and tend to be very aggressive. When they get into accidents it is usually because they overestimate something (response time of the vehicle or whatever). Women tend to cause accidents by being completely clueless. Unfortunately, this means that other drivers have to react to them, thereby causing accidents not involving the original driver.

men like to take the risks and push the envelope a little, and in my experience alot of crashes by males have been either.... showing off and not paying attention, running out of skill, over/under estimating. its not that they are rubbish at driving, its just they have tried to drive beyond their level of skill or beyond the cars level of performance

example, my mate aujas...giving people a lift home from the pub on a wet tues night, we're all in the back daring him to go a little faster, so he does, and halfway round a roundabout we aquaplane off into the curb...smashing all his front left suspension and driving the prop shaft through the gearbox.

women, wont as readily take the risks, my mum drives no faster than 60 on the motorway (when the limit is 70, and most people do 85) but seem to cause accidents by not paying attention.... (just today i had some one straddling both lanes infront of me. when i got by what do i see, 2 girls.... yakking and the driver texting on her phone)

girls also, again in my experience with friends and family, seem to be less comfortable behind the wheel. my mum hates going fast, and hates it when big lorries pull along side, or when she is along side a lorry and overtaking it, and it begins to signal. she panics and tries to get out the lane at all costs!!! its quite scary

my friend binita seemed so petrified i dont think i should of let her drive.... both hands on the wheel gripped firmly, and she was soo focused on that little patch of road infront of her she didnt realise she was doing about 100mph, she was so overcome by her concentration she very nearly didnt see the lorry pulling into the lane right infront of her... thought we were gonna crash that day for sure! and shes 22... so shes been drivin a while.

i dont think men have better driving skill than women, i think they can be just as good as each other its jus women tend to be more restrained and less confident behind the wheel of a car....whereas men tend to be abit over zealous andover confident.

in short.... men and women are just as good as each other.....just with opposite weakness

In the US, women cause more accidents, but since guys accidents occur at higher speed they get raped on insurance.

...that, and 90% of the time if there's a guy and a girl in a car, the guy is driving.

I almost was run into a guard rail because some woman in an SUV didn't acknowledge that the lanes were merging, even though I was half a car length ahead of her (I couldn't go further forward because of a truck). When I honked, she looked at me like I was an asshole, but still didn't give way, I had to slam on the brakes on a freeway onramp about 100 feet from where the ramp merges to the freeway.

Every time I've been in that type of situation with a guy, they've backed off. Yet more than once with a woman they don't.

But if you see a car doing 100MPH down the freeway, I'll put money on a guy driving it. (guilty)

No, this was BEFORE the onramp got on the freeway. Neither car was on the freeway. The onramp was a semi-cloverleaf+onramp metering lights style where two lanes merged into one before that lane merged onto the freeway.

WTF are you talking about? Israeli drivers are the worst drivers in the world.
Men get pissed off much more easily, and they also have to be "macho" so they drive fast, and all that crap. Men , including in Israel, cause a lot accidents, and more than women.
