Well Unfortunately here in Texas alot of the older generation (60+) especially the "country" folks are still very racist and never left the 50s.
Its fairly common to hear stuff still that makes me angry especially from the older folks..
and even younger folks that grew up under that influence.

So basically you cant do much about it.. nothing will change how they see things..
so all you can do is separate yourself from them.. unless they happen to be family.. which I have a couple of in the very elder parts of my family.. they still live in towns that don't even have a single black family living there out in East Texas. I could never bring a black woman home if I was dating one.. that would be a nightmare..
