As far was O&A bashing Stern, I don't get it. Why are they trying to PUSH AWAY potential listeners?

Who cares about O&A, if it weren't for Stern they'd have nothing to talk about.

It's not good to talk about things that you have no idea about - if you actually listened to the show you'd know just how stupid that comment is.

Good to know "Howie Math" is a live and well here too, by the way...

Yes, and as I recall, Mosh was in on that discussion and knows full well she is posting a bunch of hooey. Mosh, I don't know why you get involved in these Stern discussions when you obviously don't like or care about him. The fact of the matter is that he's far and away the most successful radio broadcaster in history, and his move to Sirius has been a financial, creative, and critical success. Why do you feel the need to piss in our Cheerios on this issue again and again?

I've tried to listen to O&A and tried to get into their show - in fact I was listening to the fateful show that got them kicked off the radio years ago. I have never even cracked a smile at their show - it just seems like a witless ripoff of Stern, and Opie, in particular, is a slavering kissass douchebag. There's a reason they attracted only 35,000 listeners on XM IMO. They almost can't help but succeed on CBS, though, now that Stern is gone - that was a good move for them, even if it was a terrible one for XM.

It has its dull moments, as do all shows, and you could say that without Howard there is no O&A as it stands seeing as they were fans of Stern back in the day. But for me, Anthony's impressions (he himself is far more talented than Stern, IMO) got me to listen more, and over time I've grown to love the show. I must admit that Opie seems useless at times, but that doesn't bother me. On the contrary, Howard Stern was never funny to me, but I admittedly never truly gave it the chance to be. Those mornings that I did listen on the way to school, though, weren't enough to keep my attention.

Purely out of curiosity, I wouldn't mind knowing where you guys got the numbers as far as who has drawn how many fans to what company - I know Howard has claimed multiple times that he has brought however many million subscribers, but he's counting every new subscription over the holiday season.
