I got my nickname "Buzz" when I was 2 by my parents sinze I liked the sound of the word . I use it in games, and I own zeobuzz.com and buzzwave.net, as well as triomferus.com . I got GoldenTiger by taking my variation of AgentBuzz (my gamename for CS, Unreal Tournament, etc.) and decided to put Tiger instead of Buzz for the forumname .

Mine is an acronym for a previously unpopular editorial comment on the human capacity for self-congratulatory presumption.

Deeko is practically my name. In 7th grade it was somehow forumulated, no one quite knows how, and it stuck. Alot of people don't even know my real first name at school, cause everyone calls me Deeko.

part of my last name, and the address I had when I first got the Internet.

My other nick of N983CC is a made up tail number with my birthdate and initials in it.

Heh, I just realized this is almost a "Hot Thread." If we get a few more posts...it'll be on the "Hot Threads" thing and we'll get to see how just about everyonje got their nick....no that was not a bump and order to bump just so I could say I started a Hot Thread...

Favorite Beer = Shiner Bock

My last name = Burke

Put them together and you get...

ShinerBurke

Kind of a "hey...you got peanut butter in my chocolate....no, you got chocolate in my peanut butter." thing.

Mine is actually rather uninteresting. My name is Jon, and well when I made this sn, I had just decided to study engineering, so I just figured enginjon would be the logical choice. Since making it, my friends and I make fun of it, since it is so silly, but I can't come up with anything different. I use it for just about every application where a screenname is needed (ex. IM, ICQ, online gaming, etc.) I guess it has just stuck

I have two nicknames, BMW (my initials) and Doobie (a friend gave it to me...he was under the influence at the time and thought it sounded funny) and back in the day when the internet was young and outhouses were all the rage, I choose BMdoobieW to be my nic. Afterwards, I thought about BMdoobieU, because it sounds like BMW, but I wanted the BMW part to be blatantly obvious so there ya go....

well, i thought socrates was a cool dude, but socrates was always taken, so i was looking for variations. then while watching the greatest movie of all time (yes, bill and ted's excellent adventure) i noticed socrates is referred to as "sohcrates" by the most excellent actor keanu reeves, and i knew i was on the right track!

ha! I beat all of you in the level of useless complexity!

I feel sad...

the minus is from the MTV show downtown which was on for three or four weeks. The coolest character on that show was the kid named mat, who was a graffiti artist, who used the tag minus. He'd always do the funniest things with it too, like covering a sleeping friend with "Hello, my name is minus" stickers. The second part comes from the infamous Y2K bug; but minus2000 sounds stupid, so I changed it to minus1972 because that's the same calander year as 2000 and no one ever knows what it means....

...damn.
