Hmmm... I feel like it's been too long since I've posted so I'll post here since you're asking how's life.
Let's see...
I also work IT for my school. Having a single-platform department is really nice. Mac, despite the negative connotations against it, is really nice in an enterprise environment with people that know their way around Unix systems and have been using computers since dark ages. . Got a raise. Now I gotta automate, program in-house databases, and whatnot. And sysadmin. This feels like my job:

It seems like I've been in IT forever and I love the job. But I've decided to go back to school (AGAIN) for ECE/Materials... again (for those of you who don't know (you never know), Electrical and Computer Engineering with a Specialization in Semiconductor Fabrication). Being stuck in intro circuit classes is driving me insane but you've got to take them. Anyone want to do my lab today for me? Just kidding.
I now own about 15 computers. If only I could afford the power bill to crunch. Money's extremely tight around here, especially since I pay for an apartment on my own in San Diego. California ain't cheap and going to school eats into the wages... big time. But I'll see you guys in December for the annual race. But I like my new apartment and I wired it for gigabit/wireless-n.
In addition to work and school, I'm starting my own business. Computer consulting, installations, building some custom systems, backup, hosting, and fixing PEBKACs on a small basis but really going to be a design house eventually for some AWESOME products. Because you're the TeAm, I'll let you know.... (whisper: Modular Home Automation for cheap and Tablets/MIDs). Gotta put my degree to use somehow.
And I almost eloped with my fiancee. Neither of our families knows we're even engaged, nor have they met the other one of us. But we didn't want to cause any heart attacks so we're waiting until I graduate college.
So that's what's new. I'll see you guys in another few weeks. Cheers :BEER;
Oh, and my new fridge... it's filled with beer and cheese. And my pantry has pasta and ramen. Oh college.
