After the long winter I welcome this weather though. I can't believe June is already almost gone. Only 2 more months left till it starts getting cold and snowy again. Last year the snow came late though, but the cold did not delay at all. 1st day of September, bang. No transition no nothing. Hopefully we get spoiled this year with an extended summer.

The weather was nice today. Yesterday, a thunderstorm suddenly popped up out of nowhere. Before all was said & done, we got 3" of rain in a little over an hour.

during the day we hit around 30 - 32 C with 70%+ humidity. Sometimes we get a thunderstorm.

I hate muggy days.

at 24 degrees why are hell are you running HVAC?

In my office it was like 28 because of the computer. Pretty much hits you like a wall walking in there. Once I get it down to about 23 then I open the door and let the cold air out to help cool the rest of the house.

I really need to start turning off my computer with this hot weather.

So far so good though I can maintain the house at a fairly comfortable level. It does cool off at night which is nice. My unit is not powerful enough to do the whole house if we get a steady heat wave but it can help keep it half decent comfortable. Eventually I want to get central air, but there are other things I rather spend money on given there's only 2 months of the year where I'd use it.
