Our weather here was delightful today. Low-to-mid 60's and a touch of light rain. More of the same forecast for the next couple of days.

I am NOT looking forward to the 4th of July weekend when it's forecast to get into the 80's! I'm gonna have to go find someplace with AC to hang out during the day!

I am NOT missing the usual NorCal 90 to 100+ weather...not one little bit.

(nor do I miss the $300+ electric bills that accompanied the 24 hour AC use.)

Rain rain rain. Sucks. When it rains here, it usually sticks around for a couple weeks. There's this huge rain system that's just sitting there and not moving. It can go from super hot to cold in a flash, but to go from cold to hot it usually takes a while.

It was our first 100 degree day so far, but there's a cold front moving in, and we will top out at 95 in a day or 2 with a chance of rain! WOOHOO!

And we are averaging 105 in the summers now, so the best is yet to come! I can't WAIT for those 110 plus weeks ahead!

They say there are four seasons here: Christmas, Mardi Gras, Summer, and Hurricane. We get two to four weeks of actually pleasant weather, and you always have to work late and on the weekends at those times. It's like some kind of law of nature.
