I just thought I'd ask before it has a chance to get real crappy (in which case, no one will want to hear it at that point.) :sneaky:

My resolution was to yell at my kids less. So far I've failed for 2 days.

I've been at work since the 1st, so did not get a chance to start any resolution yet. Off to a good start. I get time off starting Monday night so I'll probably start working out and stuff on the 5th.

Shit poor. Spent 2.5hrs at a breakfast with the wife. The wife wasn't the problem. The breakfast organizers were. Had to get up early, shave and dress decently for it. Long winded....Went to the gym, then had to go to the office for some paperwork. Came home for my 3:00 nap and couldn't sleep. Got a call and had to go back to the office to write a check for someone. Took the wife to an early dinner for her B-day. Hoping to be home by 6:30. Nope, had to go by the wife's office (unknown to me prior to dinner) to pick up 400 pages of collated papers she had worked on. The printer effed and spit 1/3 of them on the floor. Home by 8:00. During the 2 day cluster, her laptop was hosed up and she hasn't backed up her data. Pulled the drive and attach it to the desktop so I can copy her docs/pics. I did the recovery yesterday, 1/1. Hours of getting crap installed/services turned off/etc...and I can't connect to the home shared printer. It's been years and I've forgotten the process. ATM, I don't give a crap either.

I do have beer so that's a plus.

Started 2016 with a bang. Fireworks going off in Central Park NYC to kick-off a road race.

Then during the day time went to One World Center.

Blower motor in my heater broke. So now I have to wait until Monday to get a new one. This after spending almost $400 to fix a broken nut on the refrigerant lines in August. Unit is only 6 years old. I hate Rheem. To complete this 1st world problem I am having to use my plasma TV as a heater for my bedroom.

Ouch that sucks.

If that plasma is generating enough heat to compensate though, it might be time to look into a TV that is more efficient.

Had my furnace stop working last year in January, but sometimes it would eventually start. Then it got to a point where it just flat out would not start which sucked in the morning when I woke up to it being like 10 degrees. I decided to diagnose further and found it was the pressure switch which was an easy part to temporarily bypass till I can replace it. Replaced it and it's been ok since.

Blower is a bit more involved though.

It was a free tv that needed $7 worth of capacitors. I'm still way ahead of buying a new tv.

Not bad. Just watching football mostly.

My resolution this year is to care less, and put up with less B.S. Oh, and finally get rid of cable T.V.
