I already have a Hilton Honors Amex Plat. card, and I don't want another card... but these deals seem too good to pass up!

Ah well... all the Radio Shack stores I called central NJ (about 7 stores) don't carry the Jornadas yet - too new a product. The just wanted to try to sell it to me over the web. The Radio Shack computer system showed 0 in the whole region, and also showed the price as $599...

Looks like the catalog might be a misprint. It lists the screen as 4,000 colors, when it is actually a 16 bit 65k color screen.

The Radio Shacks near me sell it for $449, not $349. Also the PDF file in the earlier link is for B2B customers.

I tried it... still waiting for my MSN confirmation stating I qualify for the $100 check. If worse comes to worse, I'll just return it.

It's a mistake - I tried doing it both ways - I had ordered it and called AMEX for the pricematch and they emailed me back saying that they contacted Radio Shack and that it was a pricing error.

So I then tried to call that business order line and they confirmed it was a pricing mistake - they had a corporate memo telling them to refuse to honor that price.

You may luck out and have AMEX match it, but AMEX seems to be pretty good with checking the legitimacy of the price. They first asked me why RatShack wouldn't match their own price - then they called Ratshack and got the same memo.

Good luck - too much hassle to buy and return this. Oh well

Hands down... HP 565, I have the 3635, and my friend has an HP 568. The jornada just beats it out in about every category.

Also, judging from the above post, I quickly cancelled my order.... not worth risking not getting that Amex blue pricematch. Although it seems like still a good deal at $450 (599-$100 MSN - $50 HP) you can get the 567 from dell (64mb version of the jornada) for about $470-$480 shipped.

I was just in a store, looking at the flyer. Its 349 in the regular flyer....after a $200 "MSN" Rebate, and the $50 mail in.
