But cant u get someones scanned invoice and take it to office depot or somewhere and get a 110% pricematch and use some coupons on top of that?Also its free shipping so do they match that? or something?

Price matching always depends on the availability at the cheaper competing store, but to fully answer your question, no, price matches to not apply to clearence items, and this camera is in Walmarts' clearence section.

this is a geat digicam, I just got mine on wednesday for FREE at work (they love to spoil us interns). Anyway, the pic quality is really clear and it's really easy to use. It takes rechargeable batteries, that's always a plus since my last one didnt.

Mine also says $0.00, I think it is just a packing slip although it does seem odd not to have been shipped with an invoice. Giving one as a gift today so will get a chance to see if it works and how well. The accessory pack sure did sweeten the deal from a gift giving standpoint.

Friend ended up returning it at the local walmart for another. Works good now. Local Walmart had them for $257

yeah, I got mine this past Christmas, and it's held up really well. One thing I've noticed is that digital zoom kinda sucks, I only use the optical (not sure if this is specific to this camera, or just in general). I suppose its useful for the non computer people, but I'd much rather do my own resizing in ACDSee. I highly recommend getting a large capacity compact flash card. I picked up a 64 meg compact flash card from Newegg, and it allows me to take 73 pictures at max resolution. 999 at normal resolution

I usually get the pictures I like printed at Snapfish. Some of them come out better than 35mm, its amazing! They're also pretty inexpensive, plus you get your first 10 4x6 prints free. I've also got a 10% off code for Snapfish. If anyone wants it, just PM me.

hmm... I just got another idea, perhaps it would work. Office Depot also has the 612, but listed for $260 on their website. If you got them to pricematch it, you could probably use the $20 off coupon and get it shipped for $180.
