HP 7130 $400.00 @ OM*PM*BM through 8-9-03 + $50 GC

OfficeMax has the HP 7130 for $499.99
CUSR has HP 7130 showing on there web for $449.97 I think this is a reflection of the 10% off all printers $149 and above AD in Instore specials.

I tryed to get them to PM @ 100% to $405. then the 15% price diffrence,they would not.
They did infact PM to $449.97 for a $50 saveings @ 100%
Then they gave me $67.50 for the 15% diffrence for a total of $382.49 + TAX
On top of this they have a rebate for a $50 Gift Card Valid from 7-20 through 8-23 with a perchase of the HP 7130

This deal gets beter for me because I have just boght a Olympus C-5050 and there is a $50 MIR for Camera+HP Printer with media slot perchase good from 6-29-03 throught 10-4-03
$410 - $50MIR =$360.00 - $50GC = $310.00 is Nice for Me This would run $500 even with a $50 off $250 coupon @ OM or $75 off $500 @ OD + TAX
This is the only chance I've seen to get a Instant Rebate to PM with + a Gift Card ....... I have been waching this deal all Summer and the time has been found to be NOW..........

If you don't want the OM gift card you could do a In store pick up @ $449.97 and then try to use the 10% off AD ,when I was there today the Manger didn't know why the price was that way,He said he would sell the 7130 @ that price when I said can't I do a Instore Pickup..

Costco has the 7130xi (dunno the difference) for $350 before tax with coupon right now. It's also available w/o coupon at costco.com.

xi means that it is a lower quality build. Xi is usually the stuff that sell at Wal-Mart and the like.

Xi doesn't mean lower quality build. It generally indicates that it is a product that isn't sold through normal retail channels like Best Buy, Circuit City, Officemax, Office Depot. You will find Xi products sold through business channels such as resellers and places like sam's and costco. Xi products vary from their retail counterparts only slightly. It is usually a software difference and with the case of multi functions it sometimes is minor hardware differences. I have seen Xi models that differ in features such as copy/zoom capability and fax memory differences.

Xi are built the same. Not inferior.....

7130xi is for wholesale clubs only*!* Both models have been released 4/1/03 , It can not be found anyware on the net but here by meLINK This was $336.21 + shipping , yesterday when I posted @ FW , so they must have seen trafic or something because they have now raised there price.
On top of that 7130 has Photo Ret (3) which is (2) DOTS off from Photo Ret (4) which is in HPs Top of the Line 7550 Photo printer,this was quoted buy HP rep. from HP custermer service :ASK BEFOR YOU BUY: 1-800-752-0900 on there sight.
This printer also has networking cap. via Print Server 10/100 Base RJ45 and 802.11B

So for me the Costco Deal is NOT HOT *!* by far @$450-$100 coupon= $350 + Tax @Total of around $400NO SIR.... whith NO $50GC
What I should have explained further was in fact,the PM price from CUSR should be $405.......$449.97-10% from this weeks AD,That is the Advertised Price from CUSR,thats the price I asked to be PMed with. They said they would not be able to show Cor. how they came to PM the price of $405 then 15% OF the diffrence.So they agreed to PM $449.97 @ 115% which brings the total around ,a PMed price of $405 - 15% of the diffrence.I have comeout a little bit on top by them doing this this way....And so can you.....

The price I say again you should be PMing is $405 advertised price ,show the Price of $449.97 and the weekly ad @10% off any printer $149 and above.......

Costcos model is 7130xi and that model is for *wholesale clubs only* for there to be no PM to OM,OD Staples ect. They all the retail model 7130

For a model comparison visit the HP website, based on their web site on the 7100 series multifunction printers .... many of the features are the same.
