Money are you using Win 2000? It won't work with 2000 (had that same problem not recognizing the vault).

I would hope that was the first question E-stamp tech support asked you...

argh, i sent my rebate in last week with delivery confirmation
i checked it... and USPS.com says that it was undeliverable, but this was sent last week.... this is going to piss me off if i don't get the rebate now

Just so you know some intallations work fine. My windows 98SE system, overclocked like crazy, has worked great witht he EStamp Software and the HP930 from day one. I am using a parallel interface rather than USB. Frankly, I may be one of the few who continue the service as the convenience of it is worth not having to remember to buy stamps.

I Got My Rebate Check Today!!!! HA! $175.00 Big Ones! I sent mine in pretty quick after getting the printer, sent in the side bar code. Today I receive my check, and it is from E-Stamp, not Buy.com or HP! I even used the $20 coupon, and doctored my receipt to get rid of it! I love it.

FWIW, I'm still using up my "free" e-stamps. I updated to the drivers on HP's site and am printing everyday tasks great via USB. E-stamp just seems to print slow (I was told to install corporate drivers & disable two way comm and this would fix the problem by e-stamp CSR). My stats: Win98SE, 650E@866, 128 MB RAM & HP930. I never has problems with vault recognition.

1. how much the check was for?
2. have you used the $20 off coupon (receipt doctored or not?)
3. did you send in just the barcode or everything?

Brab, it was for $175 (I bought the 930c), I didn't use the $20 coupon, and I sent everything

I sent in the whole square off the side of the box, with all the numbers on it. I also used the $20 off coupon, then edited the receipt to show no coupon. I was worried about that, but then the check arrives! It was for $175.00, made out by E-Stamp.

Hmmm, so who was b*tching to me about editing the html receipt as a bad idea? Like their rebate center was going to cross reference my a$$.

Please, I did the same thing with the Voodoo rebates. Just change the dates so that it would match the rebate criteria.

I'm glad to see that you feel proud of yourself that you got away with something!
The only problem is that, IF you had gotten caught, I believe it would constitute MAIL FRAUD - which last time I checked was a Federal Offense (unless I'm mistaken)!
So, instead of bragging about getting away with it, maybe you could learn something from the people that posted warnings.
Next time you might not be so lucky!!

Ok, here's the scoop on my phone coversation with the c/s at the E-stamp rebate #. I sent in the UPC from the BOTTOM of the printer box because that's what E-Stamp told me to when I called and asked. I got nervous about all of this mess with the rebates and called the # that's posted above in this thread. Well, as it turns out, they said that they had recieved my rebate, the UPC was fine and I should be getting a check soon. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Called E-stamp today and got two different answers. The first one told me there isn't my record in their system although I sent on June 22. He gave me a lot of explanations including "mail lost" before I asked and insisted "everything is possible". Just after 5 min, I called again and this time a female CSR told me they HAVE my record and rebate check should be made in 1-2 weeks. I don't know which one I should believe. Keep fingers crossed.
For those who has received your checks, please tell us when you sent the rebate form and which UPC you use, the total slip or UPC bar code only? Thx

Got my rebate too. I sent it in around June 25 or so, so a little over a month to get it. Not bad.

I got a $175 rebate check even though I used a $20 off coupon, so I ended up getting $175 back and paying only $155 for the printer! I sold the printer at "a popular auction site" for $162. I also used a $40 gift certificate I got from one of the other deals posted on this forum so this deal netted me close to $200 in my pocket. Life is good.

Sent in side panel UPC on or about 6-25-00 and online receipt(not packing slip!) used $20 coupon (no editting of receipt); received check today $175. Several people in my office received checks today. Also, two people received their paperwork returned from processing center for improper receipt or lost receipt. Luckily they had proper copies and just sent it back, this time with receipt glued to rebate form! It appears as if all mail was "batch" mailed with e-Stamp label maker generated postage, so I bet the checks show up in "waves".
