Is there anyway to add a SDD to a HP elitebook 2530p ?

Yes.

I've installed a SSD in my 2540p, which is just the model immediately after yours, with an updated CPU. The HDD is a small-form (1.8"), which makes it challenging... You'll need something like this:

You can also use a standard 2.5" SSD if you are willing to sacrifice the optical drive. You'll need the caddy adapter, like so:

That's the route I went years ago.
