HP Laserjet 6L FREE customer replaceable pads

HP also offers free pad replacement kits for the 'notorious' LaserJet 1100 (top feed) printer series. I ordered this kit around 6 mos. ago and it was easy and completely fixed the multiple sheet feed problem! I heartily recommend searching around HP's site for your printer model if it's exhibiting this problem. So far, so good. It hasn't fed multiple sheets since I installed the new pads.

i posted this same thread like last year.

i ordered a whole bunch from HP, the 1100 series also need it, different replacement item though.

this replacement is for the 4L, 5L and 6L series.

its not perfect, try to have the input bin full at all times.

you guys are awesome no more multiple feeds on my lj1100! especially good b/c a lot of ppl use my printer and i always had to explain to everyone how to not have it jam up... but now it's all good

Got mine and Installed it. Works beautifully. Printed about 100 pages later on that day after doing my taxes and making copies to my records etc. and not a single misfeed. Thanks!

I just wanted to add to this post. I ordered about 100 a piece of these replaceable pads. I did not have to pay shipping and I received them in about 3 days.

I have to say these things have worked on every printer I have tried them on. So Far I have installed them on 4 HP 1100's, 2 HP 6L's, 2 HP 3100's and an HP 5L. I was quite impressed that this actually fixed the Multi feed problems.

There are about 3000 people in the company I work at and printers fall under my jurisdiction... For my Company, I believe these babies may be the Deal of the year. So far the savings Vs. cost to Replace these printers with a New Model is over 1500$.

I have to say thanks and give this a Bump.
