So I'm in the process of replacing my old as hell HP LaserJet 4050N. It's served me well and I have upgraded it to the hilt with max memory, duplexer, and a JetDirect Card. However It's gotten so old and it's slow like a turtle in parsing these newer docs you'd send to it.
Anyway, I understand that HP's Laserjet model numbers don't necessarily mean the newer version. Example the HP Laserjet 5000 series is roughly around the same year frame as the 4000 series. What's the newer from the 4000 series and the next newer from that. I don't care for color laser printing. My min req is duplex printing, a full paper tray that can old 1 full reem and a second tray for envelopes etc... I also want wireless printing.
