Well, I was so excited as well when I saw the title. OP, I think you should change the title to something like this: "HP LaserJet Printer Trade-in Program"

Just so everyone knows this LaserJet Color is horrible, it clunks around while it switch from black to color. It prints about 2 - 3 PPM in color and the black performance is sub-par @ best. We had 2 of them @ work until we returned them.

I have a LaserJet 4L too but mine isnt dying...it's just slow as hell. I would consider trading it in, but I guess I need more positive reviews after reading BakedWafer's post.

The 4L is the most indestructable printer ever. I've had it for at least 10 years now and I've manhandled it pretty well...yet it's still the only printer (other than my HP ColorJet 820Cse) that hasnt broken down on me. Go HP Printers!!

The office depot I work at has this printer for 399.00. Now to find an old laser printer!
