Thanks! I've been looking for a good photo printer. This is top of the line. I price-matched at Office Depot B&M and used the $10 off $50 coupon. Total was $237 after tax, and the manager was none to happy about it.

OD doesnt carry the P1100. At least thats What i thought. I work there and never saw one in our store 309. What did he pricematch with a P1000? You got lucky if he/she did that. I know we wouldnt pricematch for a diff item. Enjoy your printer, I admire your lucky arse. But wait today was 15% off for employees so many new toys for me

OD does indeed carry the P1100, I assure you. I have it sitting right here to prove it! It has the cardslots for the SM/CF cards and everything. Staples was out of stock in my area, which is why I had to PM at OD. I can't wait until I'm off next week from work to start playing with it.

Damn...I have WAY too many printers in my room. 3 Lexmarks from the Bestbuy error (soon to be given as gifts at x-mas), an Espon 880 I picked up cause of the 860 advertisement at OD when they were clearing them out (they matched the price of the 860), this P1100, not to mention my regular laser printer and Alps photo printer. I feel like I could open up shoP! Damn, I love this forum...

Just called Staples at 1-800-3STAPLE to order the P1100 printer. I told him that I wanted to PM with OfficeMax and the price was $229.99 on today's newspapers. He didn't even verify the price. Guess he had done this earlier. Final cost was about $200 with tax for both P1100 and a 5" B&W TV (used 2 coupons). Was told the items would be delivered on Tuesday.

THis was my first pm deal with staples. It was an awesome experience. I did the leg work and called local OM for the price and inventory. They had 4 left, and 0 in the other store in my city. From there. I asked the dude to put one on hold for me. He said we arent gonna sell out.

I then called staples. the csr was very friendly. She asked for the item number. i forgot to get staples item number before i hung up the internet. she kindly looked it up for me. I gave her the phone number in christiansburg, va. and she called. about 3 minutes later she returned to the phone call in progress. Before she had a chance to give total after pm, i very politely informed her i would like to apply a coupon to the order 40 off 150. and she asked for the number. That was it. shipping was free btw. MY total was 198 with tax. She said it would be shipped by staples courier tomorrow as the item was readily available. Tis the season. In closing I wished the kind lady a happy holidays. Hope you all get in on this more than generous deal.

Finally catch this deal. This morning I called one of the Office Max B&M store in my area and was told that all 5 printers are gone on sunday. But still gave it a try this afternoon. Fortunately I got a nice CSR this time and she verified the price match with no problem.
I also applied the coupon for 30$ off 150$ and the free tv. around 200 plus tax, sweet!BTW, could we work out a list of staple's CSR,
give them some rank? Don't know if it is useful but it is fun.

The item was never on the website to begin with. It was only available through the B&M. Also, It was priced at $229.99 at OM B&M. And go to the OM site and search for the store locator, one of the OM should have it.. if not, I feel for your pain...

I have a print out of it(it was under photo printers) and an order verification page listing it 229.99 - 30(coupon) for 199.99. It says CBO (company back-order) so I waited to check a B&M for it,seeings how Staples.com won't PM a backordered item. I'll try the locator, though I don't think I'll have much luck now(I'm sure the stores were told to pull them off there shelves at that price).

Damn it worked, but took a liitle work on my part. I called OM and got them to give me the numbers of stores that still had the printer instock which I relayed to the CSR at Staples.....which she called and approved. Gently said I had a $40 off coupon and had a code for for the TV. Total 199.49 shipped be here the 21st. Damn you gotta love Staples. TV and Elsa GF2 GTS yesterday for $130.00 and this today! Woohoooo Go Staples.

Yday I placed my order at 07.30 am with Staples (took like 20 minutes with inventory checking at OM). At 12.00 I called to check the status and - the order has been canceled by manager. I got very upset and asked how was that possible, etc.. The CSR tells me that the item was most probably not in stock and so they cancelled. She also offers me to place a new order - I knew that printers are out of stock now so said to leave my order untouched and wait for manager to come back to me. At 15.00 I call them again - ask to check on my order number x. The girl tells me there is something strange with my order, she can not see what I ordered or something like that, I play stupid and so we start to fill out the same order once again with the PM'ed printer (this info showed up). She said she has to report this to the computer dept. and she also talked to the manager (no problem this time). I also added the Attache which I haven't previously. The CSR also told me she'll be watching this order and if somenthing goes wrong with it, she'll call me. Now it should be delivered today. Hope I get it. Wrote this just for you guys to check your orders as same thing could have happen to you (they cancelled my order without even telling me).

Unclemo, call back and speak w/ another CSR rep at Staples. I was told the same thing, but I knew that was BS. Seems like some of the CSR do not have a clue. Conclusion it seems like the success of your purchase is directly related to the CSR that answers your call.
