If the rumors are true, and both BB and Amazon are returning their inventory, just keep checking HP's site.

You could try Office Depot, Staples, Wal-Mart. Some people over on SD are having some luck with the B&M stores, but of course YMMV.

Touchpad is "featured" on the Office Depot tablets page, with a button that says "Click for latest price", but if you click it, it tells you the item is unavailable for purchase.

That's where I got mine. They had 2 32GB and 1 16GB. The dude in front of me had reserved one 32GB. The other was "open box," and so ended up with a 16GB.

Well Walmart has some in store, but they aren't ringing up at the $99 pricepoint and they aren't price matching the website. :|

That's what I had to do. The store had 16 and 32 gb units, but the 32 is sold out online so I could only do the pick-up today in store on the 16gb unit.

Picking it up shortly, took about 1/2 hr to get the e-mail confirmation for in store pick up.


The 32gb unit rang up as 489.00

Flew over to office depot, got a 16gb. Last one. They are getting truck Monday with more in the manager told me. Maybe picking up 2 or so more.

If anybody has a 32gb they can still sell, again, just PM me. Might give the 16gb to family.


BTW, it rung up for $129, but I wasn't going to argue with them. It's still a killer deal.

If your Walmart won't give you the new price, talk to the manager.

OD and WM were sold out, and BB didn't have any. They had even ripped apart their webOS display.

Went to bestbuy @open and they would not sell them instore... they are sending them back to HP.

Congrats if you scored one. They are going for ~200 on ebay now. (which is still a nice price)

For those of you that didn't get one - I got 2 $99 16GB TP at Microcenter, + 2 Touchstone docks @ $64.95 each. Hope this makes you feel better. ()
