How's the battery life though? Last time I played with CM9 battery life was horrible.

I used the link from this forum to build it.. teh stuff from this link below.. and followed this instructions. I installed CM9 but followed the easy install from this one.

I downloaded links from that site... and followed that instructions.
I dont have clockworkmod, just have the ROM thing in CM9.. if I try reboot with recovery option it wont do it.. I think the install got hosed to begin with..
so do I acmeuninstall and then reinstall?
Is there any way to nuke the webOS install and reclaim the space yet?
Sorry to bump a thread that is nearly 2 months old, but is anyone running CM10? How does it stack up to CM9? I am thinking about installing one of them on my Touchpad but don't know which to go with.
I prefer CM10 (jelly bean) to CM9 (ICS). Love the automatic/free updates on most of the apps I have installed. Sure it's a 2 year old tablet, but does the simple things I want to it compared to lugging my 17.3" dell XPS laptop.
I'll eventually upgrade to a the 10" tablet (Nexus 10, etc) but I'm not in hurry.

I have an iPad 4, but I still use the Touchpad and if the Android load gives it more life, even better.
How is CM10 in terms of stability?
I couldnt imagine choosing to use a hacked tp over an ipad 4!
Works like I expected. Never had a lockup, touchscreen responsive, HD 720p mp4 videos play great, eBooks and comics look fine, but battery life is about 5-6 hours. Would have like if it lasted 12 hours. With a working camera (video/still) I was able to use Skype and show my place/activities (Chicago area) to a cousin in the Bay area. Using a bluetooth GPS logger/tracker I can have a 9.7" Navigation device in my car and rarely get lost. Not bad for a $150 device.
Looked and used a iPad 3, not sure if I would spend that kind of money since I'm a cheapskate. I'll wait for a refurb iPad4 with 128GB <$400 and I'll get one, but that will take a long time to happen.. like 3 years when it's old tech like the iPad 1 is now. Love the iOS 6 but I have more of Android apps spent on.

I mostly just use mine to read comics, surf the web, and present my lecture notes while I'm teaching. For these uses, I think the TP is pretty perfect.
I've done some of that stuff on mine, but after trying to do those same things on a nexus 7, it's ridiculous just how bogged down the TouchPad is. You do lose 3" on the screen, buy if you're looking for something cheap to do that job the Nexus 7 will do it way better.
I even tried to use the Touchpad as just a XBMC remote, and it was terrible at that compared to a N7. The big advantage the Touchpad has for me in that regard is that I have the touchstone charger for it, so I can put it on the stand and not have to bother with plugging anything in.
Does flash player work correctly for you in CM10?
This is exactly the kind of thing that I am envisioning -- a remote control. I've got two Harmony 880 controls and one is starting to have issues, so I was considering replacing them with IP to IR modules and using the Touchpad with Android to function as the main remote. Our other tablets, phones, etc could also have the software but I would permanently place the Touchpad in the home theater area.
Here's a 96 sec. video I just took of the TP playing a YouTube video.

Using the latest Flash Player 11 for the Android.
