Nice Will have to get this too!
Nice Will have to get this too!
FYI, to anyone that picked one up, you can speed it up quite a bit by following the info on this page: http://www.zdnet.com/blog/mobile-news/how-to-improve-the-performance-of-your-new-hp-touchpad/3866
The slickdeals page about this has over three million views, yes I said million.
It will be interesting to see how this goes for those who bought these by the dozen. I guess there'll still be a market out there that's unaware of the product line's discontinuation, who will still pay $250+ for one.
Now I'll just be waiting for Newegg and CDW to implement price cuts...:sneaky:
...just like several thousand other people.:\
B&N has the 16gig touchpad instock. Hurry and order before the slickdeal effect hit the fans.

Mine got shipped by HP. It gave me an old Fedex tracking number though, wtf?
I wonder if HP is behind some social experiment on human greed. Slickdeals would probably be Exhibit 1.

I'd say it's fairly well-established as to what will happen if you suddenly give a 70-75% discount on a desirable item.I wonder if HP is behind some social experiment on human greed. Slickdeals would probably be Exhibit 1.
From FW - 32GB.
Lots of page refreshing required...
