Guys, don't bother with Insight. They're out of stock on both models, have been since last night.
Weird that the counter moved from the 200's down to nothing just awhile ago in about an hour though.Guys, don't bother with Insight. They're out of stock on both models, have been since last night.
Last night when I called they said they had stock, but weren't honoring the HP cost, that was at 6pm est though.Guys, don't bother with Insight. They're out of stock on both models, have been since last night.
Thanks for the link, I submitted with 545 left, hopefully it works.
Thank you for calling Insight. We are currently OUT of inventory on the HP Touchpad. If you know your party's extension blah blah blah...
OK... party pooper....It won't. Your order will be cancelled.
Honestly people - just call the corporate sales number (1-800-INSIGHT) and listen to the automated menu.
I quote:
OK... party pooper....
still doesn't explain why the counter ran down.
529 left now :sneaky:Thanks for the link, I submitted with 545 left, hopefully it works.

I'm just annoyed that their reps told me 3 different times last night that they would not honor the liquidation price, even if I purchased at full price and had it discounted later. Then all of the sudden right before close of business they honor the price and deplete their stock. Either I am really unlucky with this stuff, or they were holding out, probably to sell off the stock to preferred businesses.
It's like having a swarm of Death Stars circling the planet, and as soon as someone pops up and says "Touchpads for $100!", several thousand lasers lock on and obliterate the target.I wonder how many sites these touchpad deals have taken down in the past few days...
Nice.It won't. Your order will be cancelled.

Somebody really is doing this. Now the 32GB page states there are 503 in stock and "Call for price".It's probably the web guy drinking beer with his buddies and saying..."Watch this!"
I'm pissed that I called (Insight) yesterday and got the following message on their IVR:
"Thank you for calling Insight. We are currently closed. Our business hours are from 8am to 8pm."
I called at 2:30 in the afternoon.

That's odd, are you on the west coast? Even still I called around 3pm their time and was able to get a rep on the line.
Hehe, I see that they changed it. I guess they finally saw orders still coming in from this link and took it down.
Oh well. There is always wave 2 for me to miss out on.
Not that I'm complaining about it, but why are people on eBay still paying $250-300 for these tablets? How much were they retailing for a week ago?
Because their CRM solution got totally fucked up last night when everybody on Slickdeals brought their site to its knees, just like they did with CDW's the day before. Orders were being placed while the website was timing out, the database was never getting updated, and inventory control got fucked up.
The link you're using isn't accessible via the site, it's been removed. You're using a direct link to a product that has an invalid inventory control database at this point. Just like 80% of the CDW orders, your Insight orders are being placed against 0 actual inventory and will be cancelled.
If the link is messed up as you are saying then it should still work....shouldn't it???
Well try it now cause it says "call for availability".......i saw the stock drop from 136 to 0 in 10 mins.
So stop being negative about things and let us be crazy....I have already recieved a cancellation notice from B&N, so I am keeping my fingers crossed on this one.
You have no clue how exiting of times these are and we are having a blast in the office. Its like a mad rush.....LOL.
No hard feelings dude!!!
