I know my original link didn't work, but thats not my fault. I copy pasted the direct link to the product.

Anyways you can google "simply electronics" and its the very first link in the results. It got 4 stars in customer reviews.

HOPE THAT HELPS!!!! Happy Surfing

my site????, Thanx.....I wish it was.:\

I don't care about loosers like you when sharing any information, its for those who are still looking. I know you placed your order of 20 HP's and then sold them on eBay. Its cause of people like you rest of us have no honest chance of buying a product and actually enjoy using it.

got this statement from http://www.kheelan.com/Hardware/Tablets/HP-TOUCHPAD-32GB-9.7-SCREEN-SIZE-1.2-GHZ-SNAPDRAGON-PROCESS

it reads:

TOUCHPAD AVAILABILITY UPDATE: HP says that there are shipments coming, and that they will continue to manufacture the Touchpads through the end of September. Unfortunately, no one is very forthcoming with hard numbers, but it does sound like plenty of these will be available. They just aren't making any promises as to exactly when and how many will be distributed at a time.

Glad to see that, hopefully the hype dies down, and we don't get another round of resellers buying all of them just to mark up the price and profit.

But since people are actually buying them off ebay...you know what will happen, all the resellers will just restock.

I think people will get smart by then and figure it out that if you just wait all these ebay resellers will have to reduce their price eventually as the product will become obsolete and no one will buy it anymore.

I am waiting for that day, so in the mean time I keep calling all these resellers and pissing them off by asking them to match the price

http://mashable.com/2011/08/30/hp-touchpad-second-life/

The TouchPad, HP’s ill-fated tablet PC, may have a second life after all.

The head of HP’s soon-to-be-spun-off Personal Systems Group, Todd Bradley, told Reuters the new company could resurrect the TouchPad. “Tablet computing is a segment of the market that’s relevant, absolutely,” Bradley said.

Meanwhile, HP is planning an “over-the-air” update to the TouchPad to increase its functionality, according to CNET. HP reps couldn’t be reached for comment at press time.

HP cut the price of the TouchPad from $500 to $99 earlier this month, after announcing it was pulling the plug on the product. Since then, the item has been hard to find, as customers rushed to get their hands on the discounted tablet.

The new demand prompted Mark Budgell, HP’s PR Manager for Social Media Strategy, to address the issue in a blog post Monday. Budgell said he had no information about whether more TouchPads will become available. “We will have more information available in the next few days about whether or not more will be available and if so, what the details will be about the situation,” he wrote.

Adding to the suspense, HP turned off notifications announcing if new TouchPads become available.

update from HP

http://bit.ly/qk8Ahy

It is currently getting hammered.

Mind sharing what it says, since it's getting hammered?

Edit: Nevermind, got through. The gist is that they're going to make more. They won't divulge how many more they're going to make, nor availability timeframe more specific than 'it'll take a few weeks to make them and a few weeks to get them into the hands of consumers.' Perhaps more importantly, they're going to limit sales the next round to 1 per customer to mitigate the reselling.

More TouchPads on the Way by Mark_Budgell yesterday - last edited an hour ago
I finally have some solid news to share about TouchPad availability.

Before I share, let me first say thank you for enthusiasm for this product. Since we announced the price drop, the number of inquiries about the product and the speed at which it disappeared from inventory has been stunning. I think it’s safe to say we were pleasantly surprised by the response.

Despite announcing an end to manufacturing webOS hardware, we have decided to produce one last run of TouchPads to meet unfulfilled demand. We don’t know exactly when these units will be available or how many we’ll get, and we can’t promise we’ll have enough for everyone. We do know that it will be at least a few weeks before you can purchase. See more information in the updated FAQs below.

Bryna (@BrynaatHP) and I (@MarkatHP) will update you here and on Twitter on the status of the new batch of systems. Please continue to share your thoughts and questions with us. Although we can’t respond to every one directly, we are sharing your feedback with teams inside HP.

Please note that many of the questions below address concern about orders previously placed on our HP Home & Home Office and HP Small & Medium Business online stores. It’s important to note that these are separate stores with slightly different procedures. We also know that we’re sparse on information about availability outside the US. We will share updates on regional availability as the information comes in.

Updated TouchPad Availability & Pricing…

Q: When is HP getting more HP TouchPads? One week, two weeks, a month?
A limited supply are coming and it will be a few weeks before they are available. As we know more about how, when, and where TouchPads will be available, we will communicate that here and through email to those who requested notification. We can tell you that HP’s Small and Medium Business team has sold out of HP TouchPads and will not have more inventory.

Q: Can you comment on whether HP had to manufacture more to meet the recent demand?
HP will be manufacturing a limited quantity of TouchPads with webOS during our fourth fiscal quarter 2011, which ends October 31.

They should just take a small loss on each touchpad and sell them at $199 and $249 and people would gobble them up and HP could grab massive market share. I'm glad to hear they're still going to produce some until 31 Oct.

I find it rather amusing that the company is going to make more units intentionally to lose money on them. I read somewhere they cost roughly $300-$328 to make each unit, so they are going to continue to make a product that they dropped support for to intentionally charge a third of their cost on? Doesn't make much sense from a business standpoint, i wonder if that is actually true or are there some in a factory in China already in the process of being made? Maybe they had an order placed and the factory had some of or all the parts made already so they couldn't cancel the order and that batch is about to be assembled? That sounds more likely to me, either that or HP is just so huge that it doesn't really care, I read they just bought the software company Autonomy for a reported 10 billion or so. So question is, they paid 1.2 billion for Palm, does this effectively end that and would that be considered a loss as well? I'm rambling, but if I was a stock holder i might be a little upset with the way HP is running their business.

Wow, I really didn't expect that to happen. I wonder if the truth is that they were contractually obligated to buy X number of tablets from whomever they have manufacture it or if they're obligated to produce through a certain date, and they're just saying this to look like the "good" guy.

At any rate, if the app store actually had tons of apps, HP could keep selling these things at a small loss (NOT the current huge loss, though) and recoup it through app sales. It looks like that is what Amazon might do with their tablet and HP would've been wise to do that as well. I really think they made a big mistake not pushing app development more ahead of the TP release.

They must have a ton of spare parts, so assembling a couple of more and selling for $99 may not be a big loss (not compared with the 1.2bi they already "invested). Also, they must subscribe to the "there's no bad publicity" line, and they are getting a lot of it thanks to a dead product; so, more hype for another 2 months.

BTW, with the email came a 25% coupon code.

Hopefully they flood the market with these and everyone that bought ten to resell get stuck with the extras.
