We wanted to provide an update on the current status of the HP Touchpad situation. As
you may be aware, or have seen on news reports, HP has recently supplied Touchpad stock
to Best Buy (tm) to use in a "buy an HP computer and you can purchase a Touchpad at
the fire sale price" promotion. Consequently, HP has decided to not provide us with
any additional stock that was being held and promised, for our customers who have been
waiting.
For this reason, we will be forced to cancel the remaining unfulfilled orders. We truly
apologize for this unfortunate set of circumstances and want to thank you for your
patience and understanding these past weeks. HP's decision puts us all at a
disadvantage.
We hate to disappoint customers and not being able to fill the remaining orders
disappoints us as well. If circumstances should change and stock were to become
available, we will immediately contact customers to see if they would be interested in
having their order reinstated.
In addition, we have placed a $15 CostCentral.com credit on your account towards a future
purchase, which is available now and has no expiration date because of this
inconvenience. It will appear automatically when logged into your account and you add an
