Got my second touchpad from BB today. They had it packed in a box with some air bags around it. Contrary to what other people are saying that theirs was just packed in a padded envelope.

I also got a $35 touchstone charging dock from Wally World today. Should've got another, but I'm feeling like I've blown too much cash lately.

dang it, I paid almost twice that much for my touchstone

oh well, that's what I get for being too lazy to drive down to Wally world.

I gotta say...for $135 for the 32GB - this thing is pretty impressive. Granted, I have fallen out of touch with the general computer industry. (Still working off an old Dell Inspiron 6000) Tablets have always looked like a shitty piece of technology, at least for $500. Why not get a laptop?

However, at the sub $150 price point - it's pretty damn slick. I'm enjoying it as a couch computer. Does everything I need it to do. Email program kicks the one on iOS' ass up and down.

I consider myself having gotten pretty lucky - being at home in front of a computer on a Friday night and being one of the first to see it on HP EPP's site Good luck to everyone else out there...it's a fun little toy!

You might check Best Buy's stock from the links Wyndru posted earlier (page 31 or 32). They seem to be restocking and I've seen several stores get them this week. The second closest one to me got them last night and I am considering picking up another and if my wife doesn't want it, give it as a Christmas gift or something.

Has this proven to be highly accurate?

If so there's only one store are me that shows to have them in stock but it's pretty far from me

I do have to run downtown to the data center later today, maybe I can do a bit of a detour on the way there though and see if I get lucky.

Just hesitant to go if it's proven to not be all that accurate for others.

It is limited to 1 per person IIRC but if you are able to get another, I'd prefer to give another ATer the chance to have one since I already own one.

Woa, I must of had some cached thing going on cause I just closed and reopened those stock check links and the one that did show in stock is out but there's two others that are near me that show stock now.
