I don't have the touchstone charger yet or even a case for it. I am enjoying the touchpad once I installed preware and some apps on it. I've tried even a few games on it and they are pretty fun. If you want to watch anything movie wise though you really do have to by the Kaleem media player for $7 for it though. Sucks because the free ones don't play well or lockup with audio going. The Kaleem one at least works. Wish the OS came with a good working media player for free but it doesn't.
Also wish it came with a few other apps like a netflix app. Possibly a torrent app. Although if I really want a torrent app I can install Linux on the touchpad and use the linux based torrent if I really wanted to. Still I rather not have to go down that route, because I can always use my main comp for any torrents I might need and just move them over. But it certainly would be nice to have an app for webos though to do what I want.
DroidPadTouchdroid.
LOL
Webosdroid
Lots of good one can be made but I think Touchdroid is the best.
The number one reason I bought the Touchstone was for the ease of charging and the side benefit of less wear and tear on the mini-usb port.
Although I haven't used the exhibition mode yet it does look like alot of apps take advantage of it to some extent. (79) according to the app store search that is triggered thru the exhibition mode app/settings on the Touchpad. Looks like a nice variety of things to choose from which leads me to believe that just about everybody could find at least one or two things besides the basic clock, photo viewer uses for the Touchstone exhibition mode.
HP 1 upped Apple on the Touchstone and I'm sure all the loyal sheep would pay $100 if it was one of iPad's accessories....After all it would be magical if it was a Apple product
I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if this feature is integrated into a future ipad design.
When it was a hot deal I poked around and tried to get it, but now that its cooled off I don't have much interest anymore. I've bought into cheap orphaned hardware before, and you end up with a bit of cult support, but years later the same basic issues and problems are still around.
Just a heads up for people looking for one, apparently some stores are starting to put more up so keep your eyes open. TigerDirect supposedly sent out emails stating availability, but it was first come, first serve with NO limit and they were sold out in 45 mins.
QVC had a package deal (touchpad, touchstone and case for $199) on today, but they sold out fast too. Again, no effing limit, which pisses me off, they were even giving shipping discounts on 2 or more:

HP is still stating "a couple of weeks".
The thing physically is a POS next to my iPad 2 but it sure was nice to see Flash videos play with no fuss no muss.
Lets just say that when they do release the rest of them. There will be a HIGH percentage of people getting them that already got one the first time. Anyone can have multiple email addresses and accounts with HP.

Was there some stipulation that those who already bought would be excluded from buying more?
If there was I missed that.
I would think it likely those that already bought are closely watching to buy more...
 Nice to see they got stock back in. I wonder if it was just returns from the fire sale or if they are still getting stock in.Well I'm happy to say that my order from CDW was reinstated today. They cancelled it, without any direct notice to me right after the sale. I called customer support and they said i was out of luck and wouldn't be notified. I then got another email from them last week asking if I still wanted my order...I said yes and they called today to confirm the information and setup for shipping TODAY!

I ordered from 3 places and got shutdown in all 3. Now at least I'll have one of these to try out.
I also have an open order from HP that says it will be shipping in 6-8 weeks and I also got an email from HP saying that they would notify me when more come in...I doubt I will use them, but it will be around christmas when the new shipments come in, so depending on how I feel, I might pick up a few more for gifts.
All in all, I can't complain about a new touchpad for only $100, with the potential to run Android.
