I :wub: my Dell U2410 and would recommend it enthusiastically. However, I can't comment on how it compares to the HP monitor, since I've never used one of those.

You can get the U2410 for cheap, wait for the sales... I got mine for 500 CDN, but soon after it was on sale for 450 CDN

So it can happen!

I got my ZR24W from B&H Photo for $399 shipped, it just arrived last week. I haven't used the Dell so I can't compare.

I'm please with it overall. It's about as good an ips as you can get. It's not perfect but it's worlds better than the Asus TN it just replaced.

Update: I just ordered the HP from Amazon for a really good price. I'll post back my findings in a week or two after I've tested it out compared to my LG227WTG "TN" LCD - Fingers X'd

Update for the users who wanted to know how it games.

Oblivion - Good
Titan Quest - Good
BAD Company 2 - Ok, but not good enough for me
Painkiller - Ok, but not good enough for me

No Gamma setting on the Monitor was a deal breaker for me and using the Nvidia CP to force lower Gamma "resets" to defaults after some 3D games/applications take over color settings. The Whites were just a little too harsh for me no matter how low I set the Brightness.

Overall it was a nice monitor but the lack for Gamma control and sub par "FPS" game performance were not enough for me to keep it. I decided to keep using my LG227WTG and wait for monitor tech to improve more. I also prefer a glossy screen over the matte finish coating on the HP/Dell models as well.
