HSF problems with the ASUS A8N32 SLI

Hi I was just wondering if anyone knows of any HSFs that wont fit on the ASUS A8N32 mobo, namely the thermalright XP 120 or the 90C

Should fit any/all of them, although the SI 120 is a better bet than the XP.

I thought the XP was better cos it is actually joined to the base, where the SI is just sitting on the heatpipes. OK thanx for the reply. I am planning to overclock and really like the A8N32 but was worried about the heatpipes getting in the way of the cooler. It looks like a good board on paper and hopefully performs equally well. I kno this is a bit off topic but does the 8 phase voltage make much of a difference to stability? I am tossing up between this and the DFI UT SLi DR expert

I have the xp120 and it cool GREAT, the si, though it fundamentally shouldn't does cool just almost exctly the same, the si does have much better motherboard compatability I personally cannot speak to the fitiment of either. According to thermalright's compatability list, on that particular motherboard there will be slight contact between the heatsink and other components on the board, this will not however negatively affect the performance of the heatsink or the motherboard, the si-120 does not contact at all and should fit perfectly. Have you considered the ultra-120 or other tower style heatsinks?

I dont like the look of the tower sinks cos I am always moving the computer around and having the heat sink sitting 10 to 15cm over the mobo does freak me out a bit. I will look into the SI. Thank you and I also think I will be going for the ASUS mobo too, it seems better for me as I have not really overclocked anything before (bar my Athlon 2800 which I got up to 2600 Mhz with the stock 12.5 multi). This will certainly be an experience

yes the power processing circuitry on the A8N32 and the P5N32 make a big difference.
