ht 2300 is it dangerous?

i am now running my system at 2300 mhz and ht 2300. is it dangerous? because i think i have read somewhere else that ht shouldn't be past 2100

what are you talking about; how is your HT 2300? how are you running fsb:memory 1:1, yet your memory is "really running at 191.7 mhz"?

what are your load temps and voltage you are using?

if the cpu core voltage is below 1.6 and load temps are below 55C then you are quite safe. 2300mhz for an A64 3200+ is very common and safe speed.

FYI, your memory isnt running 1:1. its using a devider, otherwise it would be running at your HTT speed which is 230MHz.
you really need a new PSU btw, i guarentee you will have stability problems if you ever use SLi. what graphics card are you using now?

Ok maybe there is something wrong with asus probe cause there is no way there is only a 3C difference between idle and load temps with stock (or any kind of air) cooling. Are you letting prime95 run at least 1 hour and are you using the torture test option for prime95 (with small FFT's for maximum heat production).

asus probe has never worked right, asus always messes with their senors to make them read like 5c below actual temp and just keep it steady

i just supposed it was kind of impossible such a small diff. Anyway i did not run prime for too long. I will try it again in some hours time, and i'll let you know.
By the way. Given the actual data and taking into account the psu i have got, which settings would you try next? Just raising frequency or what?
Last but not least, i would appreciate your inputs concerning the psu i should buy.
