About damn time. I will GLADLY take a thicker phone for a decent battery. I'm sick of this thin/light race.
You and me both, but we do seem to be a minority. Most want the thinnest phone around I guess so they can complain about crappy battery life.
A 5" phone with a 1920x1080 screen, versions with 16GB for those that don't need much and other models to 64GB for those that do. Add a uSD slot for those that want even more and a 3200mahr battery as well as a good quad core SoC.
You don't need to make it fat and the HTC One is an example of a phone that's over 9mm thick but feels much thinner. You could fit all the above in a phone less than 9mm thick.
Apple went too far in the thin direction with the iP5 and wound up with a bendy phone that has odd proportions -- yawn...
