Difference is we will never see a phone like this here. For some strange reason HTC has no problem putting an SD slot in all their phones EXCEPT those coming to North America. However, the battery is a step in the right direction.

I believe we're looking at the new Droid DNA Plus.

Verizon has already announced they will sell a version of the HTC One. I don't see why there's not room for both in their lineup.

What they don't get is to stop releasing phones every other month and rehashing phones over and over again. Their phones may have shortcomings, but what phones don't? Apple and Samsung can go for a year before fixing previous mistakes.

This is a step in the right direction. Hope they have a battery like this or larger for the next ONE. Should give samsung a good kick in the pants. I'd like to see what they put in the Note 3 since these will be lose competitors.

They havent said it wont come to NA. Considering the phone war between HTC and Samsung that is currently going on I wouldn't be surprised they do bring it to NA. I guess we'll find out eventually.

You and me both, but we do seem to be a minority. Most want the thinnest phone around I guess so they can complain about crappy battery life.

A 5" phone with a 1920x1080 screen, versions with 16GB for those that don't need much and other models to 64GB for those that do. Add a uSD slot for those that want even more and a 3200mahr battery as well as a good quad core SoC.

You don't need to make it fat and the HTC One is an example of a phone that's over 9mm thick but feels much thinner. You could fit all the above in a phone less than 9mm thick.

Apple went too far in the thin direction with the iP5 and wound up with a bendy phone that has odd proportions -- yawn...
