Looks like a nice phone. But like someone else mentioned, my OCD will have issues with that needless bezel on the bottom side. I really suspect the only reason for that bezel is just because marketing wants the HTC logo on the front.
If you are going to stick with that needless bezel on the bottom, might as well at least keep the buttons on it then. Now not only do we still have the bezel, we now also loose screen space to the on screen buttons (granted the screen is a bit bigger now).
God, I really want to love the phone, but that bezel is driving me crazy. And I apologize to those that aren't bugged by it, I realize I probably seem completely irrational to have this hang up. But it's my honest confession.
As for the weight. I think that's a non-issue to me. I've never picked up a phone and felt it was too heavy that I wouldn't want to use it. Oddly it was the iPhone 4 that I've probably come closest to having an issue with because that's quite a freaking dense phone for something so small. I don't mind a 5 inch brick in my hand. Sometimes I find it preferable to a super light piece of plastic that I fear might break when I put it in my pocket.
And HTC did a nice job with the look of the phone (other than the bezel). I like the colors, the curve of the back, very attractive.
Shame they didn't ditch that camera and go back to the drawing board. Rather than improving it, it sounds like all they did was add another gimmick to it. Changing the focus after shooting is that would rarely be used by me. Usually I focus on what I actually want to see before taking the shot. But sure, once in a blue moon it may come in handy.
