Agreed by whom?
I also see a yellowish tint on the HTC Rezound SLCD screen. Your point?

When you've lost a debate, stick your index fingers in your ears and sing "la-la-la, I can't hear you"

Many in this thread have agreed that LCDs have a higher brightness than OLEDs. As for the bluish tint, I saw it in your "Round 1" pic. I see no yellow tint for the others. But the bluish tint is strong. And I'm not sticking my hands in my ear. In fact, I would say you and Nicole are. But carry on. It's sad that you guys will insult others because you've spent hundreds of dollars on a sub-par screen.

Brightness of the screen isn't the same thing as brightness of colors.

Nobody says that LCD has brighter colors except you.

It has been agreed that LCDs are brighter.
The "scientific" test that Lothar linked to shows that the LCD has better color accuracy than SAMOLED+.

My main argument has been that the Galaxy Note I've tested at BB has stale colors. The screen was also not bright. Even at its brightest it was still pretty dim. My guess is that Samsung is trying to prolong the life of these pixels so they make them as dim as possible.

I see a yellowish tint on the Rezound. I don't see it on the LG Spectrum.

No one else here has said LCD's have more vibrant colors than SAMOLED screens except you.

So, the color accuracy is inferior to LCDs. Thanks for proving my point. As for brightness, it has been agreed in this thread that SAMOLED+ is nowhere near as bright as LCDs. Also, based on YOUR pics, there is a bluish tint on the SAMOLED+ screens. I think this debate is over. I'm done here.

You're right that the debate is over but seeing as no one else agrees with you I don't think you have proved anything expect the fact that you either trolling or have some sort of vision issue that causes you to things differently from everyone else.

Of course others agree. You just need to learn how to read (better)...

Some have admitted that LCDs are brighter while others have provided visual proof that SAMOLED+s have worse color accuracy. SAMOLED+s also have a blue tint.

Nice, changing the argument to suit your needs.

Your initial argument was always that SAMOLED+ had worse saturation than LCD. Don't forget that. Also color accuracy is easily solvable, color saturation is not.

Sprint EVO One unveiled??

http://an.droid-life.com/2012/04/03/exclusive-hands-on-with-the-htc-evo-one/

Please please PLEASE let this be a hoax. Why in the blue hell would Sprint make their version look like every other HTC smartphone released in the past two years (with a red racing stripe--WTF) rather than use the new sleek design we've seen in the AT&T version? Surely there were other solutions to get a bigger battery in place, as has been rumored.

I want to like the S4 chip but the Adreno 225 puts me right off. A One S with 720p screen & S4 with Adreno 320 (MSM8960 Pro) would be what I'd get over the GSIII.

Don't play dumb. This is what I originally wrote:
Why do people keep saying those screens are beautiful? They aren't they don't compare to the brightness of a LCD. I prefer more vibrant colors compared to the darkish colors of SAMOLED+ and their yellowish whites. SAMOLED+ is overrated.

If you can read you can clearly see that I criticized the fact that the SAMOLED+s' brightness don't compare to LCDs. I also criticized their darkish colors compared to LCDs...

Man you're nuts. Resolution being equal, SAMOLED makes IPS LCD look like garbage. The only time anyone should ever prefer IPS over it is if the resolution is just waaaaay higher.

Yeah. Same here. I thought they'd get back on topic by now, but apparently the mods will probably need to be involved to stop further derailment.

That's your opinion and you're entitled to it. But it doesn't make it right...

I do prefer SAMOLED+ over IPS if its well calibrated. However, the blueish tint that my stupid Google friends show on their Nexus is disgusting. I'll take my SGS2 anyday over that. Not only do the colors look washed out and pale, its all off.

There are scripts out on XDA that modify the Nexus colors to "real" colors

The OneX display looks pretty sweet, a true 720p display. Too bad the OneS is pentile, I hate that crap.

Yeah it doesn't look that great, I wonder why they made half of it glossy and half matte that just looks weird. It does have a micro sd slot though which is pretty sweet.

Yup, the mSD and bigger battery take away much of the sting of losing the new design. I have to admit, despite the changes the official images actually do make the phone look pretty sweet...not much wasted bezel which is a plus.

The Sprint look isn't that sexy, but it does have larger battery, micro SD slot, dedicated camera button, kickstand, camera lens that doesn't protrude as much. Functionally, it offers more than the One X.

And it's not like you spend a lot of time gazing at the back of your phone anyway.

I wish the SGS3 would be officially announced so I know what it has under the hood. Isn't it supposed to be announced around May?
