HTF do you stop a cat from getting up on countertops?

double sided tape on the edge, it gets caught on the cat's fur and will drive them nuts. might take a few time but they will learn.

works better with long haired cats, but will work with short haired cats too.

Could lay strips of tape over it to I guess for less mess to clean up, but super fun to watch the cat run around the house freaking out because it has tape stuck to the bottom of its paws

QTF. We did that with our cats and after a couple times they never did it again. We'd come back home to a cat with a strip of tape running across his side. He was pissed!
