Pretty attractive Origin 2 Humble Bundle going on now:

For $4.69 (I beat the average) I just got:

Dragon Age: Origins
Dragon Age 2
Dead Space 2
Medal of Honor Warchest
Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare
Mass Effect 2
Bejeweled 3
Peggle

And a few others. I had most of the titles but Dead Space 2, Warchest, and Dragon Age 2 were all on my wishlist.

I went ahead and grabbed this bundle. Haven't a few of the games already been free 'on the house' at one time or another? If I remember right Peggle, Bejeweled and Dragon Age: Origins have been free.

This was one I couldn't not buy.

PvZ Garden Warfare is a surprisingly fun game. Played it when they offered it on gametime. It alone was worth the price of entry for me.

I'll be interested to see what they add for free. I'd actually hope for DLC for the big games, DA:O, DA2, ME2. That stuff never goes on sale (with exception of DA:O UE). I'd take that over old games that barely function on Origin and have been offered for free previously like they did last time.

You are correct.

I already had Peggle and Bejeweled in my Origin library. When I added this bundle, it placed additional copies in my library. So I had to hide them to keep from seeing the duplicates. Kind of annoying but a minor thing.

This is really awesome. While I pretty much have all of these games on various consoles, I dont have MA2 on the PC, only on the xbox. This alone is worth the $5 I just paid. thanks OP.

Yeah, Mass Affect 2 is pretty good.

God I loved the MoH series.
Shocked that PvZ Modern Warfare is already in the bargain bin.

Do you need to have Origin installed to run any of these games?

I just want MoH really. If I need to have Origin installed to play I'll pass.

I don't understand the aversion to Origin anymore. It used to be a mess (just like Steam at release) but I have zero issues with it and it's just as easy to use as Steam.

I've got nothing against Origin. I just want to keep my game collection on one platform.

So how does this work?
For $4.69 I don't get ALL those games... do I? It says:
"Pay more than the average of $4.83 to unlock!"

So if I pay $4.84 do I get all of them, or just 1 of the "bonus" ones?

The actual platform is ok now (as you mention, I will take your word for it) but its bit like selling your soul, EA is just a well run money making machine, that cares almost zero for the end user. I like cake, but i wont buy it from the devil, even if it tastes good, just a conviction thing. Again as you say, it works fine now, and if you feel EA is ok and hasn't crushed the life from great dev houses, buy away, we both chose to disagree. I wont say I am right or you are, we just both believe different things.

You can manually add the Origin games to your steam library. That is what I do.

I really wanted Peggle for the wife so I spent $5. Guess I will finally try out a Mass Effect game.

$4.84 and you get every game on the list. Most of the time they will add another game or two which you also get for no additional cost.

I already got these for Free from Origin (I'm not sure of the exact versions):

Dragon Age: Origins
Dead Space
Plants vs Zombies
Bejeweled
Peggle

Are these the same one's that are on sale?

Dragon Age: Origins = SAME
Dead Space = IT'S THE 2ND GAME
Plants vs Zombies = IT'S ANOTHER VERSION, DIFFERENT FROM THE ORIGINAL
Bejeweled = SAME
Peggle = SAME

I have about half already so bought as a gift. Assuming I'll get individual keys so I can trade the others if I want?

Yes, and no. The Origin games are provided as a single key. However, you also get a Steam key for Dragon Age: Origins, Dead Space 2, Bejeweled 3 and Mass Effect 2, and those are individual. To note, you can redeem both sets of keys. I redeemed the Origin one and also added Bejeweled to my Steam account.

I used to hate Origin. I caved after the first Origin Bundle gave me so many great games at such a cheap price.

It's not so bad. I still prefer Steam, but I prefer playing video games over worrying about platforms/distribution channels.
